Beit Ahavah Community School

The Beit Ahavah Community School aims to instill a love of Judaism in our students and families. By taking a creative and innovative approach to Jewish learning, we work together to build a community that honors the diversity among us, offers accessible entryways into Jewish life, and deepens our commitment to tikkun olam (repairing the world).

The Jewish sages teach us that "the world stands on three things: Torah, Avodah, and G'milut Chasadim." These three pursuits provide a framework within which we as Jews can build our relationship to one another, to the world around us, and to the mysterious source of life that surrounds us.

Torah / Study – training our minds to choose actions that make the world a better place.

Avodah / Spiritual Pursuit - training our hearts to deeply connect to the oneness of all creation.

Gemilut Chasadim / Acts of Loving Kindness – using our bodies, hands and hearts to take actions that make the world a better place.
