Community Torah Study

Come Torah wrestle with us!

Join members of the Beit Ahavah community for an informal discussion of that week’s Torah portion (Parsha), a holiday, or other texts. No experience with Hebrew or formal Torah study is required, just bring your questions and opinions.

Discussions are casual (often irreverent) and led by rotating community members; All perspectives are welcome! Each study begins with a “Torah for Beginners” section to provide basic tips and suggestions for those just starting out.

If you ever get confused, inspired, or annoyed when you hear the stories that form the basis for Jewish traditions, join us and help us wrestle meaning from these words!

All sessions are currently held on Zoom until it is safe to gather together again! If you are interested in joining, please contact Anne Bussler for more information, or see our calendar for registration links.

Upcoming Community Torah Studies:

  • Monday, June 6, 2022 – Parshat Naso
