We welcome you to join us for joyous and spiritually nourishing, musical Shabbat and holiday services at Beit Ahavah!  Led by Rabbah Riqi Kosovske, with singers, lay leaders and musical guests.   All ages are welcome!  After every service, there is a light festive Oneg Shabbat with Kiddush (grape juice and wine) and Motzi (delicious challah), and oftentimes a catered or potluck vegetarian Shabbat meal.  RSVP’s are not required but are helpful so we can greet you and know approximately how many people are coming.

SCHEDULE:

Friday night is a special time for welcoming the Sabbath and bringing.  We regularly hold a Kabbalat Shabbat Service on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Fridays of the month.  Please check calendar and email announcements for start times.  Services always conclude with the Mourner’s Kaddish for those who are observing a yarzheit or saying Kaddish.  Newcomers are also always welcome.

The Tot Shabbat Family Service is the magical musical hour welcoming the Sabbath and holidays, held on the first Friday of the month at 5:15 p.m., led by Marlene Rachelle with Rabbah Riqi, especially welcoming families with kids ages 0-9.  Tot Shabbat Family Service is followed by a Tot Sha-potluck dinner, with pizza provided Generous support from Harold Grinspoon Foundation Family grant.   Tot Shabbat registration and RSVP is here.

Please check our calendar to confirm dates, start times and special themes.  

Additional community worship times and services might include themes or special kavanot (intentions), guest musical leaders or speakers, or a life cycle event.  Saturday morning services will sometimes hold B’nei Mitzvah celebrations, Torah study and Kiddush brunch, family Shabbat B’Yachad (“Sabbath Together”) events, or other community events and holidays.
