RUACH Lab

Grades 3/4-7

RUACH Lab meets on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. as a projects “laboratory” for advanced Jewish learning taught by Lux Onigman, with additional opportunities such as off-site “chavaya” adventures, arts, Hebrew reading skills, Tefillah (prayer), music, biblio-drama, Saturday morning Shabbat B’Yachad (Sabbath Together) events, leading a class Kabbalat Shabbat, creative and spiritual family holiday celebrations, Purim shpiel production with the B’nei Mitzvah class, family gatherings and more.

Hebrew Havurah meets Thursdays after school from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. to study modern Hebrew and the prayer services, with healthy snacks, songs and fun in a great learning studio after-school environment. 

We utilize progressive curricula including close readings of Torah stories, URJ Mitkadem, Hebrew Through Movement, Shiri the Llama, Hebrew in Harmony, and have a lot of fun.  The Hebrew Havurah teachers are passionate about Hebrew for kids and includes Rabbah Riqi and Hebrew specialists.
