Dear Beit Ahavah community and friends,

Welcome!  Beit Ahavah, the Reform Synagogue of Greater Northampton, is thrilled to invite you to celebrate the upcoming Jewish New Year for Rosh Hashanah (Sept 29-30), Yom Kippur (Oct 8-9) and the fall holidays welcoming the new year 5780.  We have an exciting High Holydays SCHEDULE found here.  And lots more info for meal sign ups, volunteering, family evets, Yizkor and more is HERE.

Beit Ahavah is an inclusive, joyous community led by Rabbi Riqi Kosovske.  Our Reform synagogue is rooted in the prophetic Judaism of social justice.  We welcome everyone, including people of all ages, interfaith families, LGBTQIA people, and all who seek connection in this season of renewal.

Beit Ahavah services are participatory, uplifting and musical, with inclusive, creative liturgy, feminist and egalitarian G-d language and harmonies.  We have an awesome congregational choir, musicians and shofar blowers (contact us to join).  We offer family services, teen & youth discussions, adult programs and festive meals over all the holidays.

While Beit Ahavah does not use tickets, a donation is appreciated and requested if you are not already a congregational member.  The suggested donation range is $18 – $360. The tradition of giving at the High Holydays enables Beit Ahavah to be here for the greater community and to grow as a congregation.  To contribute, please visit our support page, or send a check to Beit Ahavah, 130 Pine Street, Florence, MA 01062.  Membership forms are also found here.   Thank you

If you are new to Beit Ahavah and plan to attend services, please let us know so we can warmly greet you at the door.  You can email info@beitahavah.org or call 413-587-3770.

We hope you will be as involved as you can and join us for musical services, the Oneg reception on Rosh Hashanah evening, Kiddush luncheon after services on Rosh Hashanah morning, Tashlich ritual at the Mill River, and a celebratory break-fast meal at the end of Yom Kippur, and other events.

Details and the schedule of services, events and sign-up options to bring food and/or to volunteer to help out can be found on the High Holydays page of our website.

L’shanah tovah u’mitukah!  A happy and sweet new year ahead of peace,

Aline LaBorwit Davis, President, and the High Holydays Committee – Geoff Friedman, Ronnie Rom and Eli Molitors Bergman
